Dear IPA
friends,
I
am contacting you to update you on plans for the Birmingham and West Midland
IPA Friendship Weekend between 17th-19th May 2024.
We are
proposing a range of activities including a welcome reception at West Midlands
Police Headquarters, visits to the Black Country Museum with Canal trip, a guided walk and visit to
the West Midlands Police Museum at Steelhouse Lane, Cadbury World, an evening with the Pop Voice Choir at Moseley Rugby Club and many
other options for our members and visitors to enjoy.
As
a Committee we are really hoping that our members will get involved in the
weekend and volunteer to support some of the activities, whether this is
meeting and greeting
visitors
at the airport/train stations, helping run some of the events, or just
attending and making some new friends.
Please
put the dates in your diary, we will keep you updated as the plans develop; and
please contact Helen Preece or myself if you would like to get involved.
